Preset Management
Preset Management**:
Presets allow saving frequently used settings for:
- Overlap side
- Overlap
- Upper/lower allowance for piping
- Fixed valance height

Cutting Strategies and Panel Optimization
The mode offers two main strategies which can be selected via the Strategy button. ![[image]](/acrylcut/bahnoptimierung.png)
Narrow Side Panels
- Side panels are calculated to be less than or equal to half the roll width
- The system automatically calculates the outer panels
- A minimum panel width prevents too narrow edge strips
- If the minimum width is not met, the middle panels are automatically adjusted (shortened)
Wide Side Panels
- Side panels are calculated to be larger than half the roll width
In both cases, the calculation uses a virtual repeat of 12 design repetitions for precise adjustments. The repeat can be changed in the article management if a node system is used. In case of a standalone machine, the repeat cannot be changed!
Cutting Process and Control
The default sequence follows this order:
- Automatic selection and cutting of the first (usually full) panel
- Cutting of the remaining full panels
- Final cutting of partial panels on the sides
The cutting sequence can be adjusted at any time: a simple click on a panel selects it for the next cut.
Panel Management
The management of individual panels has been designed to be flexible and user-friendly. After each successful cut, the system automatically marks the corresponding panel green to visually display progress. If a previously cut panel needs to be repeated for any reason, the system offers two options: Either through a direct click on the panel, which immediately selects it for another cut regardless of its current status, or through a long click. With the second option, a loading bar appears, after which the panel's status reverses - from cut to uncut or vice versa.

This enables precise control over the cutting process and allows flexible response to quality requirements or errors. Once all panels of an awning have been cut, the system automatically prepares the next cutting data, ensuring an efficient and continuous workflow.
