Third-Party Software

The Software/HMI is developed by Jentschmann AG. It uses several frameworks and SDKs to accelerate development. Some of these require certain third-party software to be installed on the computer to function. This third-party software is already installed on computers/machines provided by us.

• DotNet Desktop Runtime - The DotNet Runtime is used to ensure the functionality of the software. The version used depends on the delivery date. The current latest version is 9.X.
• WebView2 - A web browser from Microsoft integrated into the software, based on Microsoft Edge.
• Microsoft Edge - This web browser is required by WebView2.
• Notepad++ - This editor is installed by default on all computers and is used for simplified commissioning and editing/viewing of various file types.
• TwinCat 3 - In case a real-time operating system is used, we use the latest version of Beckhoff TwinCat 3.

To use our software/machine, the operating system must be Microsoft Windows Version 10 (Build 1809) or higher.
