Creating a Backup

First, select which data and settings should be included in the backup.

Under "Backup Location Folder," select the folder where the backup should be saved.

TIP

If you are using an external storage device and have connected it before opening the menu item, it should automatically be selected as the storage location.

In the "Backup Name" field, you can give the backup a specific name. By default, the name is composed of the prefix "Backup," the computer name, and a timestamp (year, month, day, hour, minute, second).

Click "Create Backup" to start the backup process. This process may take several minutes depending on the storage medium and data volume. During the process, you should not disconnect external media or navigate to other pages.

WARNING

Make sure there are no interruptions during the backup process, such as disconnecting external media, to avoid data loss. Do not use the program until the backup is complete!

INFO

The duration of the backup depends on the size of the data to be backed up and the speed of the chosen storage medium.
