Station Settings

The "Station Settings" allow you to make important and often profound system settings. To access these settings, the program must be started as administrator (right-click on the program icon, select "Run as Administrator"). If the program is run without administrator rights, a notification appears and the controls are grayed out.

Set Support Handle

Enables setting up a link with TeamViewer so that TeamViewer can be launched directly from within the program.

Set Computer Name

Sets the computer name, which is necessary for unique identification of the computer in a network environment.

TIP

The computer name must comply with the following restrictions:

• Length: Maximum 15 characters.
• Characters: Allowed are letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), and hyphen (-).
• No hyphen at start or end: The name must not begin or end with a hyphen.
• Avoid special characters and spaces: Avoid spaces, periods ( . ), underscores ( _ ), commas ( , ), slashes ( / or \ ), colons ( : ), asterisks (*), question marks (?), quotation marks ("), angle brackets (< or >), and vertical bars (|).

Set Wallpaper

Sets the Jentschmann AG standard background on the desktop and login screen of the computer.

Set Language/Time

Configures the system clock to Central European time zone and sets the language to English with German keyboard layout and punctuation.

Set Windows Keyboard

Disables the Windows Touch Keyboard to use program-based touch input fields.

Set Accent Color

Sets the accent color in Windows to Jentschmann AG default values.

Set Autostart

Adds the program to autostart. This creates a link in the shell:startup folder.

Set Desktop icon

Adds a shortcut of the program to the desktop.
