Tex tape

The Tex tape cutter is a specialized machine for precise processing of tex tapes for horizontal slats and blinds. The machine not only cuts the tapes to a consistently uniform length but also provides both ends with a fold embossing for the subsequent sewing process. It is designed for high production output and can process lift tapes in widths of 6, 8, and 10 mm, with the fold marking being adjustable between 15 and 30 mm from the tape end.

The tape transport is carried out via a sophisticated system with two synchronously driven, carbide-coated transport rollers and a powerful stepper motor.

A special feature is the motorized spool control with dancer system on a linear guide, which enables precise and smooth tape withdrawal at speeds of up to 30 meters per minute. For quality assurance, the machine is equipped with a tape error control system that detects thickness variations and automatically stops production at seam connections. An integrated stacker can clamp up to 25 cut tex tapes and ensures orderly storage. The built-in RCM marking system ensures precise positioning of the fold marks and facilitates further processing, especially when sewing the bartacks. The clear but gentle tape marking allows even less experienced personnel to achieve precise length accuracy during processing.
